Welcome! Our church's website exists to meet the needs of her members, and to help those members in times of hardship. We worship together as a community of Christian Coptic Orthodox believers. We support one another’s values and common beliefs through love and respect. We nurture the faith of our members in a variety of ways including divine liturgies, sunday school programs, spiritual meetings, and social activities.

تسلمت الكنيسة يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 12 يوليو 2011 الأرض الجديدة والمبنيين القائميين عليها بنعمة الرب وصلوات شفيعي كنيستنا العذراء القديسة مريم والقديس ماريوحنا الحبيب وأقيم أول قداس في هذا اليوم بمناسبة عيد الرسل
نشكر الله من اعماق قلوبنا لانه عظم الصنيع معنا ولنسأله أن يتمم مشيئته المقدسة في كنيسته لخلاص نفوسنا له المجد الدائم إلي الأبد امين
إجعل يارب من هذا البيت موضع راحه لشخصك الحبيب
o Pray for stability to rebuild during the months of transition

o Pray for justice and provision for the poor and destitute, the ones who always suffer the most

June' 2011 update:
Our beloved Fr. Daniel Bessada has had the blessing of H.H. Pope Shenouda during his stay in Cleveland last June. H.H. reviewed the drawings of the new land, new church, and the buildings. H.H. is satisfied with the project, blessed and signed all drawings.

Kids' Easter Presentation - April 22, 2012:
With the blessed spirit of Easter, our beloved SMSJB Kids performed Easter Presentation outstandingly on SUN April 22nd, 2012 right after the Divine Liturgy.
They started the Presentation by the Pope Tribute, followed by Angels' Choir, G1 to G3 Play "Dreams Come True", G1 and G2 Choir, Pope Shenouda's Poems, G4 to G6 Performance "Lead Me to the Cross", G3 to G6 Choir, and G6 to G8 Play "I am Free."
Abouna distributed Easter's gifts to all our beloved kids and thanked them for their outstanding performance and commitments to all practice' sessions.
We thank everyone who participated with his/her time and effort to organize this Presentation and celebrate our Lord's Resurrection.
May the blessings and joy of Resurrection encompass us all.

He is Risen...Truly He is Risen
The Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ
افتحوا أيها الملوك أبوابكم، وارتفعي أيتها الأبواب الدهرية، فيدخل ملك المجد
إخرستوس آنستى . . . آليسوس آنستى
المسيح قام ... بالحقيقة قام
قام رب المجد من الأموات وصار باكورة الراقدين.. إن الرب يسوع بقيامته كسر شوكة الموت وغلبة الهاوية
كما كسر متاريس الجحيم، قام بقوة لاهوته، وبسلطانه الإلهى، وأظهر للعالم أجمع أنه وحده ابن الله المتجسد وأنه القيامة والحياة
إن قيامة المسيح من الأموات هى جوهر إيماننا، وموضوع رجائنا، بدونها لا نشترك فى مجده وسعادته

In Matthew 28: But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
WED April 25th was the 40th Day Memorial of H.H. Pope Shenouda. Our Church prayed the Vesper Prayers on TUE April 24th @07:30 PM, followed by a glorification for H.H. Pope Shenouda.
In addition, our Church prayed a special Divine Liturgy on this 40th Day Memorial on WED April 25th @09:00 AM.
May the Lord rest H.H. Soul in the paradise of joy and may he always remember us in his prayers before the throne of God.

Wedding Anniversaries in May:
Release me! (By Fr. Daniel Bessada):
One of the many blessings of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the release of the Spirit from the chains of the body. The hope of getting rid of all things that may pull the Spirit down; whether sins, habits, ego, fear or the bondage of the enemy.
The spirit will gain the release from the knowledge of sin. Not only we won’t sin, but also we won’t know what sin means. What a release! In addition, we will enjoy the release unto the knowledge of God as we will know Him as He is. 1John 3:2 “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
Moreover, the release from bonds; bonds of the senses which are very limited, bonds of materialism which couldn't bring forth true everlasting joy, bonds of human wisdom which is nothing compared to Divine wisdom, bonds of the four walls which may limit the vision of the spirit, bonds of other people’s judgments whether by praising or insulting.
Finally, the spirit will gain the release of one self’s earthly desires and fears. Fears from the future, sin and body limitations, especially
fear from death. All mankind had the fear of death prior to the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ; even the righteous, the prophets, the kings and the fathers. But after the Resurrection, there is no more fear as the spirit became free to continue her journey after death.
I wish we all may have this prayer during the fifty joyous days “Release me”

Easter Divine Liturgy - April 14-15, 2012:
Our beloved Congregation prayed the Easter' Divine Liturgy on SAT April 14th, 2012. This was the first Easter' Divine Liturgy in our permanent location.
We started the prayers @07:30 PM, prayed the Divine Liturgy, and then having aghapy at St. John the Beloved's building.
We thank the Lord for His Resurrection that gives us hope, victory, life and joy. Christ is risen as He said.
Ekhristos Anesti - Christ is Risen - المسيح قام
Resurrection is our song. The Lord of Peace is alive and offer us Peace. May the blessings and joy of Resurrection encompass us all.

Good Friday - April 13, 2012:
Our beloved Congregation prayed the Good Friday Hours, remembering what the Lord did for our salvation and singing this hymn:
"Thine is the Power, the Glory, the Blessing and the
Honour, forever Amen, Emmanuel our God and King "

We then had a tour outside the Church carrying the Crucifixion icon and the Cross, and then started the Burial Ceremony.
